Each dog upon successful completion of the course will have the following:
- Full training records are available, detailing the daily training the dog received while on course. These records provide a way of proving the work that the dog has done so if the dog’s ability is ever questioned the records and dogs will speak for themselves.
- Copy of Certification showing the exercises carried out to determine that
the dog is competent to be employed as a detection dog.
- Certificate of Completion.
Your dog must pass several critical tests to ascertain if it is suitable for detection training. Each dog is assessed individually regardless of breed, sex and age. Suitable Breeds We assess your dog on its ability to do this type of work not its breed, although some breeds such as Labradors, Belgian Malinois, Beagles or German Shepherds are much more suited when it comes to detection work.
